My journey

 

I am Dr. Ari Ari, a committed physician and humanitarian whose professional journey reflects a deep passion for improving health care and the well-being of communities. My commitment to the medical and humanitarian field has materialized through various experiences within renowned organizations.

​

As an active member of ASCOVIME, a Cameroonian NGO, I have held key positions in both the medical and educational fields. As head of the traveling operating room, I have successfully directed more than 1,000 medical campaigns, carrying out nearly 500 various operations in complete autonomy. At the same time, as head of school kit distribution missions, I contributed to the education of thousands of children across Cameroon.

My commitment was also demonstrated during my mandate as Chief Medical Officer at the Catholic Hospital of Zamakoé, Mbalmayo. I carried out around 200 general medicine consultations per month there, while taking charge of the management of medical-surgical and obstetric emergencies, and hospitalized patients. Surgical procedures, such as cesarean sections, inguinal and umbilical hernia repairs, as well as acute appendectomies, have been an integral part of my responsibilities.

My advanced training course in the visceral surgery department at the Central Hospital of Yaoundé, supervised by Dr. BWELLE Georges, was a crucial step. It allowed me to deepen my clinical skills within a multidisciplinary team.

​

In collaboration with humanitarian organizations such as GSF (Gynecology Without Borders-France) and UNICEF-Cameroon, I have led significant initiatives, including the organization of the SONEU seminar and the distribution of school kits. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work interculturally and find creative solutions in complex contexts.

My professional career illustrates my determination to work for a lasting positive impact in the fields of health, humanitarian work, and education.
