General surgery
Visceral surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the internal organs located in the abdomen.
My background
After my medical studies, I spent my first two years of surgical training at the CHU of Charleroi, Belgium (2010-2012).
During this period, I developed a particular affinity for visceral surgery, particularly colorectal and bariatric surgery.
After successfully completing the basic surgery exam, I moved to Geneva in 2012. I ultimately completed my surgical training there in October 2016, obtaining the FMH title in general surgery.
Then, as a Chief Resident in general surgery (visceral, thoracic, and vascular) at the Centre Hospitalier du Valais Romand, I developed a particular interest in colorectal surgery, bariatric surgery, and parietal surgery.
The completion of my specialized training in coloproctology and bariatric surgery at the Geneva University Hospitals allowed me to continue my development both in practice and in clinical research.
My specialties
-Colorectal oncological surgery and proctology
-Parietal surgery
-Endovenous surgery
-Chronic wound surgery
